Psalm 94: God: Rots minds and retards the development of the whole planet.

Psalms Part 94 of 150

1 Yahweh, you God to whom vengeance belongs,

you God to whom vengeance belongs, shine out.

2 Rise up, you judge of the earth.

Pay back the proud what they deserve.

Pride is only a problem when overdone like anything else, so I don’t see why the proud need to be attacked.  You’re just making excuses to have your enemies given a hard time.

3 Yahweh, how long will the wicked,

how long will the wicked triumph?

Only as long as ‘good’ people allow them.  That doesn’t mean you by the way.

4 They pour out arrogant words.

All the evildoers boast.

Not true.  Many evildoers as you call them keep quietly to themselves so they aren’t noticed by the likes of you.

5 They break your people in pieces, Yahweh,

and afflict your heritage.

Gawd doesn’t have a heritage.

6 They kill the widow and the alien,

and murder the fatherless.

Also untrue.  You talk as if everyone who is what you can an evildoers commits murder.  There are levels of sins committed ranging from liars to genocidal maniacs like your god.  What shall be his punishment?

7 They say, “Yah will not see,

neither will Jacob’s God consider.”

Not real, ergo, no eyes.  No eyes, ergo, you can’t see.

8 Consider, you senseless among the people;

you fools, when will you be wise?

If you think you are leading by example, then giving up your imaginary friends would be a start.  How can you expect others to do something you aren’t to do?

9 He who implanted the ear, won’t he hear?

He who formed the eye, won’t he see?

No, because nobody formed the ear or the eye.  Read a book.  A real good book.  One about science and evolution.

10 He who disciplines the nations, won’t he punish?

He hasn’t as yet, so it’s unlikely he’ll do anything.

He who teaches man knows.

Man can be taught the wrong things, so not all those who teach, know.  Just look at priests.

11 Yahweh knows the thoughts of man,

that they are futile.

If we have free will as we are told be religion, then thoughts are not futile.

12 Blessed is the man whom you discipline, Yah,

That is the belief of an overbearing tyrant.

and teach out of your law;

13 that you may give him rest from the days of adversity,

until the pit is dug for the wicked.

Truly wicked people need to be taught how to be good people and they need to be taught with compassion, not hate, torture and derision.

14 For Yahweh won’t reject his people,

neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Bullshit.  It wouldn’t be the first time.

15 For judgment will return to righteousness.

All the upright in heart shall follow it.

Proven to be false over a long time.

16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?

Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?

Where are your guards?  Where are your police?  Any why are the evildoers after you?  What have you done?

17 Unless Yahweh had been my help,

my soul would have soon lived in silence.

Then there would be less whinging.

18 When I said, “My foot is slipping!”

Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up.

You didn’t just think that you stood up on your own?  It couldn’t have just been your sense of balance kicking in?

19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me,

your comforts delight my soul.

You are way too easily pleased then.  Do something good for the needy and you will see that you can delight yourself without giving credit to your imaginary friend.  You might also find you have less enemies.

20 Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you,

which brings about mischief by statute?

21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous,

and condemn the innocent blood.

What proof do you have or is this yet another incident of you blaming others only because your beliefs tell you they are evil?  This has been happening to the innocent for centuries because of Christianity and it needs to stop.  Too many people are being murdered in the most horrible and savage ways because of morons and their biased beliefs.

22 But Yahweh has been my high tower,

my God, the rock of my refuge.

He has been your rock to hide behind so you don’t have to come into the light of day and face the truth about the real world.

23 He has brought on them their own iniquity,

and will cut them off in their own wickedness.

Yahweh, our God, will cut them off.

Your belief in him has held this planet back in unimaginable ways and you should be ashamed of yourselves.  Do the right thing and give up this childish belief and behaviour.
