Psalm 118: Don’t let your right hand know what your left hand is jerking.

    Psalms Part 118 of 150

1 Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,

for his loving kindness endures forever.

    Didn’t, isn’t and won’t.

    2 Let Israel now say

that his loving kindness endures forever.

Saying it doesn’t make it true.

3 Let the house of Aaron now say

that his loving kindness endures forever.

    Ditto.

4 Now let those who fear Yahweh say

that his loving kindness endures forever.

5 Out of my distress, I called on Yah.

    Yah answered me with freedom.

    You have freedom?  Really?

6 Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid.

What can man do to me?

You really need to ask that?

7 Yahweh is on my side among those who help me.

Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.

Having Gawd on your side hasn’t always been a good thing.  Read the damn book.

8 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,

than to put confidence in man.

Man is real.  Gawd is not.  So the claim doesn’t stand.

9 It is better to take refuge in Yahweh,

than to put confidence in princes.

That just may be true.  There have been many bad princes, but still, at least they were real and could be fought and beaten.

10 All the nations surrounded me,

but in Yahweh’s name, I cut them off.

YOU cut them off.  That wasn’t Gawd.

11 They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me.

In Yahweh’s name I indeed cut them off.

Hack and slash seems to be a recurring theme in the bible.

12 They surrounded me like bees.

They are quenched like the burning thorns.

In Yahweh’s name I cut them off.

How?  As I said earlier, just saying it doesn’t make it true.

13 You pushed me back hard, to make me fall,

    but Yahweh helped me.

    How?

14 Yah is my strength and song.

    He has become my salvation.

15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous.

“The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly.

16 The right hand of Yahweh is exalted!

The right hand of Yahweh does valiantly!”

I can only guess what he does with his left hand.

17 I will not die, but live,

    and declare Yah’s works.

Won’t die?  Where are you now?  Dead dude.  Give it up.  (Here I am talking to the dead!)

18 Yah has punished me severely,

but he has not given me over to death.

19 Open to me the gates of righteousness.

    I will enter into them.

I will give thanks to Yah.

    For what?

    20 This is the gate of Yahweh;

the righteous will enter into it.

If he was punishing you, you can’t claim righteousness.

21 I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me,

    and have become my salvation.

22 The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

And the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round…

    23 This is Yahweh’s doing.

It is marvelous in our eyes.

    A delusion in your mind.

24 This is the day that Yahweh has made.

We will rejoice and be glad in it!

25 Save us now, we beg you, Yahweh!

Yahweh, we beg you, send prosperity now.

Work hard, save and do it for yourself.  It feels better.  Unless of course you’re a lazy delusional bastard.

26 Blessed is he who comes in Yahweh’s name!

Said the Priest to the Altar Boy!

We have blessed you out of Yahweh’s house.

27 Yahweh is God, and he has given us light.

Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

You would only need to bind a sacrifice if said sacrifice was trying to get away.  In that case you are talking of killing a living being.  That’s not nice.  It’s just not right.

28 You are my God, and I will give thanks to you.

You are my God, I will exalt you.

29 Oh give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,

for his loving kindness endures forever.

    Again, NOT!!!

Psalm 116: Wanted by Morons: God, aka Jehovah, aka Yah, aka Yahweh!

    Psalms Part 116 of 150

1 I love Yahweh, because he listens to my voice,

    and my cries for mercy.

Anybody can make baseless claims like this.  Prove them, then we might listen.

2 Because he has turned his ear to me,

therefore I will call on him as long as I live.

3 The cords of death surrounded me,

the pains of Sheol got a hold of me.

    I found trouble and sorrow.

    See a shrink.

    4 Then I called on Yahweh’s name:

“Yahweh, I beg you, deliver my soul.”

If you actually heard a voice answer you, then you have even more serious problems.

5 Yahweh is Gracious and righteous.

    Yes, our God is merciful.

    Whatever floats your boat.

    6 Yahweh preserves the simple.

I was brought low, and he saved me.

    Yes, sure he did.

7 Return to your rest, my soul,

for Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you.

8 For you have delivered my soul from death,

    my eyes from tears,

    and my feet from falling.

You were dead, crying and falling?  If you were dead, how do you know you were crying and falling?

9 I will walk before Yahweh in the land of the living.

I’m here.  Doing alright.  Don’t need a puppetmaster.

    10 I believed, therefore I said,

    “I was greatly afflicted.”

If you believe, then you are afflicted.  That I do believe.

11 I said in my haste,

    “All men are liars.”

You are a man.  How then, do we take your word for anything?

12 What will I give to Yahweh for all his benefits toward me?

You’ve already given up your sanity.

13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call on Yahweh’s name.

Why not? You already drank the Cool-Aid!

14 I will pay my vows to Yahweh,

yes, in the presence of all his people.

15 Precious in the sight of Yahweh is the death of his saints.

He really does like death ,doesn’t he!

16 Yahweh, truly I am your servant.

I am your servant, the son of your handmaid.

You have freed me from my chains.

You have given up your life, your mind, your free will.

17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving,

and will call on Yahweh’s name.

18 I will pay my vows to Yahweh,

yes, in the presence of all his people,

19 in the courts of Yahweh’s house,

    in your midst, Jerusalem.

    Praise Yah!

Yahweh, Jehovah, Yah, God.  How many aliases does a guy need before you become suspicious?

Psalm 115: Bless my Outhouse, for I hath farted!

    Psalms Part 115 of 150

1 Not to us, Yahweh, not to us,

but to your name give glory,

for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.

2 Why should the nations say,

    “Where is their God, now?”

Because he never does anything much to help them except punish them and get them into wars.  Not helpful.

3 But our God is in the heavens.

    He does whatever he pleases.

    That much seems evident.

4 Their idols are silver and gold,

    the work of men’s hands.

As are yours, except made of wood or rock etc.  Some smaller ones are made of gold and silver though.  You can’t even abide by your own gods rules.

5 They have mouths, but they don’t speak.

They have eyes, but they don’t see.

    Same as yours.

6 They have ears, but they don’t hear.

They have noses, but they don’t smell.

    Ditto!

7 They have hands, but they don’t feel.

They have feet, but they don’t walk,

neither do they speak through their throat.

    Ditto!!

    8 Those who make them will be like them;

yes, everyone who trusts in them.

Pretty much, yes.  So why do you still follow your stupid religion?

    9 Israel, trust in Yahweh!

He is their help and their shield.

10 House of Aaron, trust in Yahweh!

He is their help and their shield.

11 You who fear Yahweh, trust in Yahweh!

He is their help and their shield.

If he was any kind of shield for his people, how come so many died in their wars?

12 Yahweh remembers us. He will bless us.

He will bless the house of Israel.

He will bless the house of Aaron.

    Will he bless my outhouse?

13 He will bless those who fear Yahweh,

    both small and great.

I could never love someone I feared.

14 May Yahweh increase you more and more,

    you and your children.

Do you want fries with that?

15 Blessed are you by Yahweh,

    who made heaven and earth.

… and bacteria, polio, whooping cough, meningitis, the plague, measles, huntingtons, etc.  So loving of him.

    16 The heavens are the heavens of Yahweh;

but the earth has he given to the children of men.

17 The dead don’t praise Yah,

    neither any who go down into silence;

18 But we will bless Yah,

from this time forward and forever more.

    Praise Yah!

No, you won’t, because you will die too and you’ve already stated the dead don’t praise him.  Dickhead.

Psalm 113: Sorry Shakespeare, I couldn’t help it.

    Psalms Part 113 of 150

    1 Praise Yah!

    Praise, you servants of Yahweh,

    praise Yahweh’s name.

Why?  A God by any other name would smell as bad!

    2 Blessed be Yahweh’s name,

from this time forward and forever more.

    Nope, it still stinks.

3 From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same,

Yahweh’s name is to be praised.

I can’t think of one single solitary reason to do so.

4 Yahweh is high above all nations,

    his glory above the heavens.

He might be high, but he isn’t above anything.

5 Who is like Yahweh, our God,

who has his seat on high,

There’s a few ego maniacal morons I could name that think they are godlike.

6 Who stoops down to see in heaven and in the earth?

    Astronomers and Geologists.

7 He raises up the poor out of the dust.

    Lifts up the needy from the ash heap;

No he doesn’t.  He asks them for donations so the Pope can wear funny hats.

8 that he may set him with princes,

even with the princes of his people.

This monarchy thing has nothing going for it either.  What right has anyone to be born ‘above’ another person?  It’s wrong.

9 He settles the barren woman in her home,

as a joyful mother of children.

    Praise Yah!

    He’s a rapist!

Psalm 112: Atheists do get frustrated, but it’s the Christians who gnash their teeth. Silly sheeple.

    Psalms Part 112 of 150

    1 Praise Yah!

Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh,

who delights greatly in his commandments.

If he was real, then everybody would fear him, but as it isn’t real, then what rational minded person would care?

2 His seed will be mighty in the land.

Gawd really has to stop diddling other mens wives.  It’s not right.

The generation of the upright will be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches are in his house.

    His righteousness endures forever.

    He doesn’t have any righteousness.

4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright,

    gracious, merciful, and righteous.

In their deluded minds, light could dawn at midnight.

5 It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends.

He will maintain his cause in judgment.

6 For he will never be shaken.

The righteous will be remembered forever.

    As fools.

7 He will not be afraid of evil news.

His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.

Then why is David always whinging, whining and shitting himself silly about his enemies?

    8 His heart is established.

He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.

Not true, as I just said.

9 He has dispersed, he has given to the poor.

    His righteousness endures forever.

His horn will be exalted with honor.

You really need more modern language.  I’ll say no more on this.

10 The wicked will see it, and be grieved.

He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away.

The wicked that you see are just those who don’t believe in your imaginary friend.  Seeing all of the so called wicked people, including me, NOT being grieved, NOT gnashing their teeth and NOT melting away, I have to question your statement.  These days I see more christians gnashing their teeth in anger and frustration.  What is wrong with you people?

Psalm 110: Why have peace when war is so much fun?

    Psalms Part 110 of 150

    A Psalm by David.

1 Yahweh says to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand,

Being a psalm by David, I have to expect it is David who is saying that God said this.  David’s ‘lord’ would be God.  Therefore, Yahweh is talking to himself.  Makes perfect sense.  Well, about as much as the rest of this damned book.

until I make your enemies your footstool for your feet.”

This is just about making war on their enemies.  As usual.  The whole book seems to be about wiping their enemies out of existence so Gawd’s favourites can live in peace while slaving away to sacrifice everything to the priesthood in his name.  The good bits that I might agree with are so few and far between that they may as well not exist at all.

2 Yahweh will send out the rod of your strength out of Zion.

Rule in the midst of your enemies.

3 Your people offer themselves willingly in the day of your power, in holy array.

Out of the womb of the morning, you have the dew of your youth.

4 Yahweh has sworn, and will not change his mind:

“You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.”

5 The Lord is at your right hand.

He will crush kings in the day of his wrath.

6 He will judge among the nations.

He will heap up dead bodies.

He will crush the ruler of the whole earth.

    7 He will drink of the brook on the way;

therefore he will lift up his head.

    Pathetic.

Psalm 109: Where’s the loving kindness?

    Psalms Part 109 of 150

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David.

1 God of my praise, don’t remain silent,

I’ll let you in on a little secret.  He doesn’t have a choice.  Being a myth means he can’t talk.  Get over it.

2 for they have opened the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of deceit against me.

They have spoken to me with a lying tongue.

3 They have also surrounded me with words of hatred,

and fought against me without a cause.

I’ve read the book.  You aren’t an angel yourself.

    4 In return for my love, they are my adversaries;

    but I am in prayer.

5 They have rewarded me evil for good,

    and hatred for my love.

Leader, King, Ruler, whatever.  You’re a freaking politician no matter what.  Of course the people will hate you.  Again, get over it.

6 Set a wicked man over him.

Let an adversary stand at his right hand.

7 When he is judged, let him come out guilty.

Let his prayer be turned into sin.

8 Let his days be few.

    Let another take his office.

Maybe someone asked God for this favour with you as the target?  Ever thought of that?

9 Let his children be fatherless,

    and his wife a widow.

10 Let his children be wandering beggars.

Let them be sought from their ruins.

11 Let the creditor seize all that he has.

Let strangers plunder the fruit of his labor.

A person only has to read this to know you are a right bastard yourself.

12 Let there be no one to extend kindness to him,

neither let there be anyone to have pity on his fatherless children.

13 Let his posterity be cut off.

In the generation following let their name be blotted out.

14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered by Yahweh.

Don’t let the sin of his mother be blotted out.

15 Let them be before Yahweh continually,

    that he may cut off their memory from the earth;

16 because he didn’t remember to show kindness,

but persecuted the poor and needy man,

the broken in heart, to kill them.

17 Yes, he loved cursing, and it came to him.

He didn’t delight in blessing, and it was far from him.

18 He clothed himself also with cursing as with his garment.

It came into his inward parts like water,

    like oil into his bones.

19 Let it be to him as the clothing with which he covers himself,

for the belt that is always around him.

20 This is the reward of my adversaries from Yahweh,

of those who speak evil against my soul.

NO, it’s what you wish was their reward.  It is what you ask Yah Yah to do to them.  You sir are a moron.  Not a nice one either.

21 But deal with me, Yahweh the Lord, for your name’s sake,

    because your loving kindness is good, deliver me;

22 for I am poor and needy.

My heart is wounded within me.

23 I fade away like an evening shadow.

I am shaken off like a locust.

24 My knees are weak through fasting.

My body is thin and lacks fat.

25 I have also become a reproach to them.

When they see me, they shake their head.

26 Help me, Yahweh, my God.

    Save me according to your loving kindness;

You aren’t going to get much by pleading for something he doesn’t seem to have.

    27 that they may know that this is your hand;

that you, Yahweh, have done it.

28 They may curse, but you bless.

When they arise, they will be shamed,

    but your servant shall rejoice.

29 Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor.

Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.

30 I will give great thanks to Yahweh with my mouth.

Yes, I will praise him among the multitude.

31 For he will stand at the right hand of the needy,

to save him from those who judge his soul.

It all boils down to you wanting everything in your favour and everyone else who doesn’t bow down to you, to be pounded out of existence after being tortured.  You really were made in Gawd’s image.

Psalm 108: If Moab is God’s washpot, then God is my G’zunder.

    Psalms Part 108 of 150

A Song. A Psalm by David.

1 My heart is steadfast, God.

I will sing and I will make music with my soul.

Nothing wrong with that.  Be happy.

2 Wake up, harp and lyre!

I will wake up the dawn.

Leave the dawn alone. Some of us like to sleep late thankyou.

3 I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations.

I will sing praises to you among the peoples.

    For?

4 For your loving kindness is great above the heavens.

Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

Not true.  He has to show a lot more than one or two instances of loving kindness to even begin to catch up to the heinous acts he has committed upon mankind. Then he would need to double it to make any headway.

5 Be exalted, God, above the heavens!

Let your glory be over all the earth.

But he doesn’t behave in such a manner that would make any reasonable person thing he was good or glorious.

6 That your beloved may be delivered,

save with your right hand, and answer us.

Who is his beloved this week?

7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph,

I will divide Shechem, and measure out the valley of Succoth.

Answer me this: What is a sanctuary?  Then tell me why Gawd would need one.

8 Gilead is mine. Manasseh is mine.

    Ephraim also is my helmet.

    Judah is my scepter.

9 Moab is my wash pot.

I will toss my sandal on Edom.

That is just nasty and doesn’t show you to be a nice person at all.  You don’t treat people or nations in that manner and expect to be respected.

    I will shout over Philistia.”

10 Who will bring me into the fortified city?

Who has led me to Edom?

11 Haven’t you rejected us, God?

You don’t go out, God, with our armies.

    Fickle bastard isn’t he!

12 Give us help against the enemy,

for the help of man is vain.

13 Through God, we will do valiantly.

For it is he who will tread down our enemies.

You just keep right on believing that.  Your enemies will be happy.

Psalm 107: Read the damned book for yourself before telling me what it says.

    Psalms Part 107 of 150

    1 Give thanks to Yahweh,

    for he is good,

for his loving kindness endures forever.

Especially since he never used any of it.

2 Let the redeemed by Yahweh say so,

whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,

Those who ‘think’ they have been redeemed.

3 And gathered out of the lands,

from the east and from the west,

from the north and from the south.

4 They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way.

They found no city to live in.

They went where they were told and suffered for 40 years.  Totally unnecessary.

    5 Hungry and thirsty,

    their soul fainted in them.

    Abuse I say!

6 Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble,

and he delivered them out of their distresses,

    Not ‘delivered’, but ‘stopped causing’!

7 he led them also by a straight way,

that they might go to a city to live in.

40 years in the desert is not a ‘straight way’ by any stretch of the imagination, which is something they have plenty of if this book is any measure.

8 Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness,

for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Genital mutilation is not a ‘wonderful work’.  Not at all.

9 For he satisfies the longing soul.

He fills the hungry soul with good.

He fills an empty head with myths and magic.

10 Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death,

being bound in affliction and iron,

11 because they rebelled against the words of God,

and condemned the counsel of the Most High.

This was only possible because the religious zealots had control.  A secular country/nation has no such problems.

12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labor.

They fell down, and there was no one to help.

13 Then they cried to Yahweh in their trouble,

and he saved them out of their distresses.

Released the torturous hold he had over them.  For a while at least.

14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death,

    and broke away their chains.

15 Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness,

for his wonderful works to the children of men!

16 For he has broken the gates of brass,

and cut through bars of iron.

That he made and put in place.

17 Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience,

    and because of their iniquities.

18 Their soul abhors all kinds of food.

I’ll eat nearly anything, so that has no meaning.

They draw near to the gates of death.

19 Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble,

he saves them out of their distresses.

20 He sends his word, and heals them,

and delivers them from their graves.

After being put there by their loving SkyDaddy.

21 Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness,

for his wonderful works to the children of men!

22 Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving,

and declare his works with singing.

23 Those who go down to the sea in ships,

    who do business in great waters;

    …probably eat fish.

    24 These see Yahweh’s works,

and his wonders in the deep.

25 For he commands, and raises the stormy wind,

    which lifts up its waves.

26 They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths.

Their soul melts away because of trouble.

27 They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man,

and are at their wits’ end.

28 Then they cry to Yahweh in their trouble,

and he brings them out of their distress.

    Prove it!

29 He makes the storm a calm,

so that its waves are still.

30 Then they are glad because it is calm,

so he brings them to their desired haven.

31 Let them praise Yahweh for his loving kindness,

for his wonderful works for the children of men!

Read the damn book and list good vs bad that Gawd has done.  See if you really think he’s worth following.

32 Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people,

and praise him in the seat of the elders.

33 He turns rivers into a desert,

water springs into a thirsty ground,

34 and a fruitful land into a salt waste,

for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.

Rather petty if you ask me.

35 He turns a desert into a pool of water,

and a dry land into water springs.

36 There he makes the hungry live,

that they may prepare a city to live in,

    37 sow fields, plant vineyards,

and reap the fruits of increase.

Why have them living in such adverse conditions in the first place?

38 He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly.

He doesn’t allow their livestock to decrease.

Yes he has.  Read the book.

39 Again, they are diminished and bowed down

    through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.

40 He pours contempt on princes,

and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.

    Nasty, nasty, nasty Gawd.

41 Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction,

and increases their families like a flock.

42 The upright will see it, and be glad.

All the wicked will shut their mouths.

43 Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things.

They will consider the loving kindnesses of Yahweh.

Those that think he’s real and is the one causing their hardships will fall all over themselves to appease him in the hopes things will get better.  Some will die of starvation waiting while others may live but in a weakened state only to die younger than necessary.  Those that are ready to work for themselves will overcome these obstacles and survive.  They will be stronger for it too.

Psalm 106: Gawd, if you need praise at these costs, you have self esteem issues.

    Psalms Part 106 of 150

    1 Praise Yahweh!

Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good,

for his loving kindness endures forever.

You can’t end what hasn’t begun I suppose.

2 Who can utter the mighty acts of Yahweh,

or fully declare all his praise?

A mute person can as well as you I expect.

3 Blessed are those who keep justice.

Blessed is one who does what is right at all times.

Yay, another one I agree with.  Doesn’t happen nearly enough though.

4 Remember me, Yahweh, with the favor that you show to your people.

    Visit me with your salvation,

5 that I may see the prosperity of your chosen,

that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation,

that I may glory with your inheritance.

Want, want, want.  Where is the giving?

6 We have sinned with our fathers.

    Do tell!

    We have committed iniquity.

    We have done wickedly.

7 Our fathers didn’t understand your wonders in Egypt.

They didn’t remember the multitude of your loving kindnesses,

but were rebellious at the sea, even at the Red Sea.

Considering how he made them stay there and put up with all kinds of torture, death and torment, you can’t really blame them.

8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake,

that he might make his mighty power known.

They were and you are, just toys to him.  Read the damn book.

    9 He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it was dried up;

so he led them through the depths, as through a desert.

10 He saved them from the hand of him who hated them,

and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

Only to continue torturing them himself.

11 The waters covered their adversaries.

There was not one of them left.

    Which wasn’t necessary.

12 Then they believed his words.

    They sang his praise.

What did they sing?  Praise be to the Killer on High?  We love you Oh Great Murderer in the Sky?

13 They soon forgot his works.

They didn’t wait for his counsel,

14 but gave in to craving in the desert,

and tested God in the wasteland.

Why did he have them in a wasteland?

15 He gave them their request,

but sent leanness into their soul.

    Petty bastard!

16 They envied Moses also in the camp,

    and Aaron, Yahweh’s saint.

17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan,

and covered the company of Abiram.

18 A fire was kindled in their company.

The flame burned up the wicked.

19 They made a calf in Horeb,

    and worshiped a molten image.

Such naughty little boys and girls.

20 Thus they exchanged their glory

for an image of a bull that eats grass.

21 They forgot God, their Savior,

who had done great things in Egypt,

    He killed people in Egypt.

22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham,

    Pork!

and awesome things by the Red Sea.

23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them,

had Moses, his chosen, not stood before him in the breach,

to turn away his wrath, so that he wouldn’t destroy them.

So God didn’t do what he said he would do.  He let a mortal change his mind.  Think about that.  What does it tell you?

24 Yes, they despised the pleasant land.

    They didn’t believe his word,

25 but murmured in their tents,

and didn’t listen to Yahweh’s voice.

26 Therefore he swore to them

that he would overthrow them in the wilderness,

27 that he would overthrow their seed among the nations,

and scatter them in the lands.

Now THAT sounds like the Gawd we’ve all come to know.

28 They joined themselves also to Baal Peor,

and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their deeds.

The plague broke in on them.

30 Then Phinehas stood up, and executed judgment,

    so the plague was stopped.

31 That was credited to him for righteousness,

    for all generations to come.

32 They angered him also at the waters of Meribah,

    so that Moses was troubled for their sakes;

33 because they were rebellious against his spirit,

he spoke rashly with his lips.

34 They didn’t destroy the peoples,

    as Yahweh commanded them,

They had more compassion than Gawd.

35 but mixed themselves with the nations,

    and learned their works.

    36 They served their idols,

which became a snare to them.

37 Yes, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.

    One question.  Who created Evil?

    38 They shed innocent blood,

Gawd should be proud.  They learnt well from him.

even the blood of their sons and of their daughters,

whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan.

The land was polluted with blood.

Abraham was going to kill his son Isaac at Gawd’s command. What is the difference?  They are just following his example.

39 Thus were they defiled with their works,

and prostituted themselves in their deeds.

40 Therefore Yahweh burned with anger against his people.

    He abhorred his inheritance.

Yeah, full of hate and anger.

41 He gave them into the hand of the nations.

Those who hated them ruled over them.

Gawd not only let this happen, he made it happen.  Add that and all the rest of the hateful things that are listed here go on his resumé.

42 Their enemies also oppressed them.

They were brought into subjection under their hand.

43 Many times he delivered them,

but they were rebellious in their counsel,

and were brought low in their iniquity.

44 Nevertheless he regarded their distress,

    when he heard their cry.

45 He remembered for them his covenant,

and repented according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.

If he really had any he would not have allowed this to happen in the first place.  He’s been like a kid with a magnifying glass on an anthill since the beginning.

46 He made them also to be pitied

by all those who carried them captive.

47 Save us, Yahweh, our God,

gather us from among the nations,

to give thanks to your holy name,

    to triumph in your praise!

48 Blessed be Yahweh, the God of Israel,

    from everlasting even to everlasting!

Let all the people say, “Amen.”

    Praise Yah!

That is all this damnable god wants.  Praise.  He wants his sheeple on their knees praising him at every turn.  Subjugation at all costs.
